The Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida has established a tradition of strong leadership and caring for our youth for over 20 years. Since our founding in 1990, we've served countless youth. In 2009-10 we served nearly 500 youth in Taylor County and over 350 in Suwannee County. As our economy changes in these uncertain times, it is imperative that local government, businesses, and civic minded individuals support the mission of the Boys & Girls Club.

The fact is, the Club makes a difference. However, it costs us $6 per child per day ($1,500 per child per year) to run the program. The return on our investment is phenomenal, though. Consider the following impacts:

As a result of our educational focus, regularly attending Club youth averaged a "B" in Reading, Math, and Science for two years running..
The Club has partnered with Steinhatchee School to provide after-school programs to the youth of Steinhatchee, serving nearly 100 students each year.
